Funding and Financials

NRDC reports revenue of $165MN in 2018. Its clean energy future climate related activities are by far its largest area with roughly 50% of its program related expenses. NRDC does not disclose the amount of corporate contributions but its “memberships and individual contributions” category accounts for 51% of its revenue in 2018. NRDC President Rhea Shu received compensation of $543K in 2017 according to its 501(c)(3) tax filing.
